Why We Built This Site
Finding a docket often depends on knowing which court heard the matter. The Wood County District Clerk keeps 402nd Judicial District Court civil, family, felony, and juvenile files. The County Clerk keeps constitutional County Court criminal, civil, probate, mental-health, and guardianship records. Justice and municipal courts maintain their own lower-court dockets. We bring those official routes together and explain how Odyssey Public Access, posted docket files, re:SearchTX, and clerk requests serve different needs.
What You Will Find Here
The material is organized around common public court tasks:
- Ways to search criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Steps for checking court dates and settings
- Name and cause-number methods for a case lookup
- Plain and certified-copy routes in the court record search
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or agency. We cannot retrieve or certify an official file, alter a hearing date, amend or seal a case, remove a docket entry, or give legal advice. We also cannot guarantee that a fee, phone number, or setting remains current after publication.
Only the originating Wood County clerk or court can issue an official record or certified copy. Confirm important information directly with that office.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain search tools supplied by outside providers. Those providers control their own results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through such a tool may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set partner charges or control the records they return.
